Randy Fischback

RF headshotRandy Fischback is currently the Public & Government Affairs Director for The Dow Chemical Company in California. He has worked for Dow for 29 years in a variety of engineering and management positions in research, manufacturing, and environmental/health/safety. Before taking on his current responsibilities, Randy was Dow’s Regulatory Affairs Leader in California with compliance and remediation responsibilities for Dow’s seven California sites. In his current role, he has responsibility for Dow’s public policy, advocacy, reputation, and communication at both the state and local levels. He serves on several trade association and charitable boards, both in Sacramento and in the community surrounding Dow’s largest site in eastern Contra Costa County.

Randy graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1979 as a BS Chemical Engineer with honors. He enjoys an annual opportunity to guest lecture on bioremediation at his alma mater. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California. He and his wife are natives of the San Francisco Bay Area and have three children in attending college in California.
