Robert Lucas
Robert Lucas is President of Lucas Advocates, Inc., a lobbying firm in California that provides research, consulting and advocacy services. Mr. Lucas founded the firm in 1983 to provide full service legislative and regulatory advocacy for clients before government in California. Mr. Lucas is a registered lobbyist and a licensed attorney with an undergraduate degree in Civil engineering from New York University.Prior to launching Lucas Advocates, Mr. Lucas served as the Principal Consultant to the Joint Legislative Audit Committee of the California Legislature. He was also the Principal Consultant to the Assembly Transportation Committee and Consultant to the Subcommittee on Transit and to the Subcommittee on Air Quality. Mr. Lucas also gained valuable experience with local government during his tenure with the Sacramento Regional Area Planning Commission.
