Water

Water resources, including groundwater, surface water, and ocean water, are of special importance to California and to CCEEB. California’s economy—and our quality of life—remains dependent on the responsible use of water.

CCEEB looks at water issues on two levels: We support water infrastructure projects that ensure an adequate supply for all Californians and we track water quality and water conservation efforts aimed at protecting and preserving our natural resources. Throughout our work, we advocate on behalf of policies based on good science and sound economic analysis so that our society can continue to enjoy economic prosperity and perpetuate the quality of life benefits that result from maintaining high quality waters of the state for the range of beneficial uses.
