SUMMER ISSUES SEMINAR
The Council sponsors an annual week long series of meetings during the summer legislative recess in order to examine the progress of our policy agendas and revise our strategies to ensure success. We also use this meeting to hold a dialogue with elected and appointed officials, our members and other interests to explore current and emerging environmental trends. Council members find this retreat style environment conducive to creating an open and productive exchange with our guest speakers, many of whom represent views different from CCEEB constituencies.
FALL PLANNING CONFERENCE
Near the end of each year the Council holds a hands-on work session, open only to CCEEB members, where we review our achievements, prioritize issues and develop a work plan and strategy for achieving our regulatory and legislative goals in the coming year.
GOVERNOR EDMUND G. 'PAT' BROWN AWARD
Named after our founding Chairman, the Edmund G. "Pat" Brown Award is presented annually. This award recognizes an individual or organization whose accomplishments most exemplify the spirit of environmental and economic balance in California.
